Radar started as a Geofencing Platform, but last year we launched a Maps Platform and a Geo-Compliance Solution for Gaming, making Radar the only truly all-in-one geolocation platform. Demand has been intense, and 2024 was a year of unprecedented growth.

In this post, we reflect on a great 2024, preview an even bigger 2025, and say thank you to our amazing community of customers and partners.

2024 recap and 2025 preview

1 billion API calls per day across retail, gaming, logistics, and more

In 2024, our enterprise customer base nearly doubled to 250, and we passed 1 billion API calls per day from 300 million installed devices across retail, gaming, logistics, and more.

We've achieved this scale while maintaining the highest standards of privacy, security, and reliability.

Over 100 companies have switched to Radar Maps Platform

Over 100 companies, including Panera, DICK'S Sporting Goods, GEICO, and PrizePicks, have now migrated most of their maps workload from Google Maps Platform or Mapbox to Radar Maps Platform. Collectively, these companies are saving millions of dollars on their maps bills and generating millions of dollars in incremental revenue from increased conversion rates.

In 2024, we announced new capabilities making it easier for large enterprises to switch to Radar Maps Platform, including international address coverage, a proprietary geocoder and geospatial database called HorizonDB, and new maps customization capabilities.

Gaming is now our fastest growing vertical

In 2024, gaming became Radar's fastest growing vertical. We now have over 50 enterprise gaming customers spanning sportsbook, iGaming, iLottery, DFS, sweepstakes, and more.

We announced Geo-Compliance Premium, more licensing progress, and a partnership with LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Will Green, formerly of bet365 and the American Gaming Association, joined us to scale compliance, licensing, and fraud teams focused on gaming.

2025 will be a major turning point in the geolocation compliance market, as several of the largest US sportsbook and iGaming operators switch from legacy geolocation compliance vendors to Radar.

Extending our lead in developer-friendliness and ease of integration

Radar has long been the industry leader in geolocation accuracy, reliability, and ease of integration.

In 2024, we announced new capabilities like one-line SDK implementation and A/B testing for remote SDK configuration. These innovations allow companies to add location services to their apps with a single line of code, and scientifically measure the impact of location-based experiences on engagement, foot traffic, revenue, and opt-in.

Growing our amazing community of customers and partners

Nearly 200 customers and partners joined us in-person for Radar IRL 2024, where we announced these and other launches as well as our new Channel Partner Program.

We continue to be tremendously grateful to our community of customers and partners. Without you, our success would not be possible.
