Radar Maps Platform updates: International address coverage and Maps Studio

We continue to see incredible demand for our Maps Platform. Since launching last year, over 100 companies have switched from Google or Mapbox to Radar. Collectively, these companies are saving millions of dollars on their maps bills and earning millions in incremental revenue from increased conversion rates.

Today, we’re announcing two new features that make it easier for the largest and most sophisticated enterprises to migrate to Radar Maps Platform: international address coverage and Maps Studio.

International address coverage

While our geocoding and address autocomplete APIs have long had enterprise-grade address coverage in the US, our coverage now extends to nearly 200 countries.

International address coverage

You can use our geocoding APIs to convert between addresses and geographic coordinates, or use our address autocomplete APIs to provide real-time address suggestions and typeahead. With international address coverage, Radar now supports these use cases globally.

This functionality is currently available to select enterprise customers, with general availability coming later this year. To learn more, connect with our team.

Maps Studio

We’ve long offered out-of-the-box map styles, including classic, light, and dark themes. With the launch of Maps Studio, you can create custom map styles with your own fonts, colors, logos, and more, helping you build branded experiences that drive more engagement and higher conversion rates.

If you’ve used other map style editors, you’ve probably found them a bit overwhelming. So, we optimized for simplicity while still giving you advanced controls to customize all the details of your maps.
