Since we launched our fraud detection and geo-compliance solution for gaming last fall, we've been overwhelmed by the response.

Dozens of operators and vendors spanning sportsbook, fantasy, sweepstakes, casinos, horse racing, and lottery are choosing Radar for geo-compliance.

Product updates: Risk scores, no-download web solution, desktop apps, and more

We continue to improve our fraud detection and geo-compliance capabilities across all platforms.

First, we recently introduced user and device risk scores. Risk scores are based on dozens of fraud checks, counts of users per device, and counts of devices per user. Operators can customize rules, thresholds, and lookback periods based on preferences, and can automatically block users or devices and receive weekly email summaries or real-time alerts when risk scores change.

Second, we've continued to improve our geo-compliance capabilities on the web. Our web SDK functions as a "no-download" solution for many jurisdictions. For more regulated jurisdictions and use cases, we've built Radar Verify Mac and Windows apps that have passed a comprehensive GLI audit.

Finally, we've been improving the visualization and reporting capabilities in our back office, built on our own powerful Maps Platform and location intelligence capabilities.

Press

Our CEO Nick Patrick spoke to the Financial Times, Bonus.com, and SBC Americas about Radar's entry into the geo-compliance market.

Speaking to SBC Americas, Nick said:

Radar’s vision is “location infrastructure for every product and service.” We’ve spent the last 8 years pushing the limits of geolocation accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Outside of gaming, we power use cases like highly accurate drive-thru arrival detection for restaurant apps, indoor location for retail apps, or location tracking and spoofing detection for logistics apps. We’ve optimized our location infrastructure so we can serve these use cases extremely cost-effectively. And we handle Super Bowl-like traffic spikes on a weekly basis, processing over 100 billion API calls per year.

Our technology translates naturally to gaming use cases, like detecting which state a player is in or which part of a casino a player is in. And the accuracy, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our technology is unparalleled.

Because we’ve spent the better part of a decade optimizing our location infrastructure, we can sustainably offer pricing 50-90% lower than alternatives.

Licensing

We're ready to operate in a dozen jurisdictions in North America, and we've filed licensing applications in a dozen more. We still expect to be licensed in all US jurisdictions where online sports betting and iGaming are legal by the end of 2024.

Conferences

Our CEO Nick Patrick spoke at the NEXT Summit in New York City on March 7. You can see a recording of his talk, "The next generation of geo-compliance solutions," below:

We'll be at the SBC Summit in New Jersey from May 7 to May 9. And we're excited to share that we've been shortlisted for the Compliance Solution and Partner of the Year award by SBC.

We hope you'll join the growing list of operators and vendors choosing Radar for fraud detection and geo-compliance. Contact our sales team to learn more.
