Introducing our fraud detection and geo-compliance solution
Radar has long been the industry leader in geofencing, processing over 100 billion API calls per year from over 100 million devices and powering geolocation for brands like DICK's Sporting Goods, T-Mobile, Panera, and Zillow.
Today, we're announcing the general availability of our fraud detection and geo-compliance solution, a developer-friendly, cost-effective geolocation solution for gaming and other industries.

This week's launch follows last week's launch of Radar Maps Platform, a cost-effective alternative to Google Maps Platform and Mapbox.
The need for viable geo-compliance alternatives
Online gambling is exploding in the United States, with fierce competition from market leaders like FanDuel, DraftKings, and others. Competitive markets are good for consumers and stimulate innovation. However, nearly all online gambling operators rely on a single geolocation vendor: GeoComply.
Over the past year, we've had dozens of conversations with leaders in the gaming industry, from tier 1 operators to trusted vendors to regulators to compliance experts. Virtually everyone agrees: viable, cost-effective geolocation alternatives are needed. Radar is here to meet that need.
Introducing Fraud context type
Our Geofencing Platform has long supported highly accurate and reliable geofencing (Geofences context type), country and state detection (Regions context type), place visit detection (Places context type), and Bluetooth beacon detection (Beacons context type).
However, users can spoof a device's location. For example, a gaming app user may spoof their location to access sports betting features only available in specific states. Or, a retail app user may spoof their location to access offers only available inside a store geofence.
Our new Fraud context type detects location spoofing, including GPS spoofing, proxy and VPN usage, device tampering, screen sharing, and more.
Our powerful dashboard provides reporting, troubleshooting, and back office capabilities, with audit logs and advanced access controls.

Together with Regions, Geofences, and Beacons, Fraud context type provides a powerful fraud detection and geo-compliance solution for any vertical, including gaming, streaming, payments, retail, and logistics.
The Radar difference
Radar sets itself apart with developer-friendliness, fair and simple pricing, flexibility, and enterprise-readiness.
Our developer-friendly SDKs support fraud detection on iOS, Android, web, and desktop, and can be integrated with just a few lines of code. Our mobile SDKs have passed an audit by Gaming Labs International (GLI).
Radar is significantly more affordable than alternatives. Pricing is based on monthly tracked users, not location pings, making it easy to forecast costs, check a player's location as often as needed, or enable new use cases.
Beyond geo-compliance use cases, Radar can power other use cases like location-based messaging, on-property app experiences, address validation and mapping, and more. Radar also integrates seamlessly with other tools you're using, like Segment, Braze, and AWS to name a few.
Finally, unlike other upstarts in the space, we already work with global brands like Panera, DICK's Sporting Goods, and T-Mobile, processing over 100 billion API calls per year from 100 million devices. Our customers also love us for our support, and we think of ourselves not just as a vendor, but as a true partner.
Strong early demand
We're already working with fantasy apps like Sleeper and Fliff, vendors like Everi, sportsbook operators like Ballers Sportsbook, and horse betting apps like 1/ST BET.
We're really happy we chose Radar as our geofencing provider at Sleeper. The integration with the rest of our tech stack was a breeze, well-documented and easy to follow.
