Reveal risky web and mobile traffic

Radar Reveal detects fraud risk across every web and mobile session using device and network intelligence, with precise location verification available for the sessions that need it.

How it works

Radar Reveal helps you identify VPNs, proxies, compromised devices, suspicious browsers, and other high-risk traffic before signup, login, KYC, purchase, or withdrawal.

Risk detection plus location verification

Identifying a risky session is only the first step. With Radar, you can step up suspicious sessions to verify their location using GPS, Wi-Fi, and other signals.

Why teams use Reveal

Identify risk before you ask for location

Most fraud workflows skip precise location entirely or ask for it too late. Reveal gives you a low-friction first step: assess device, browser, and network risk before deciding whether verified location is needed.

Step up to the strongest signals

Device and network signals can tell you when a session looks suspicious. Radar Protect can tell you where that user really is. With Reveal and Protect together, you can step up high-risk users to precise location verification when it matters most.

Keep trusted users moving

Not every user needs the same level of scrutiny. Reveal helps you separate low-risk traffic from suspicious sessions in real time, so trusted users move forward while risky users get verified, blocked, or reviewed.

Frequently asked questions

What is Reveal?
Arrow icon

Reveal is a fraud detection API that surfaces device and network intelligence and risk scores across every web and mobile session without requiring location permission. Call revealRisk() at signup, login, checkout, or transaction time and get back a risk score with clear reasoning, IP context, and device signals. When a session is high risk, you can step up to full location verification to confirm exactly where a user is.

Do I need to ask users for location permissions to use Reveal?
Arrow icon

No. Reveal works across every web and mobile session without requiring any location permission. It’s built specifically for the traffic that happens before a permission is ever granted: first-time app opens, web sessions, and users who dismiss the location prompt. When a session is flagged as high risk, you can then choose to request location verification for that specific session, rather than asking every user upfront.

How does Reveal work with location verification?
Arrow icon

Reveal is designed to work alongside Protect, which verifies a user’s real-world location to fight fraud and meet compliance requirements. revealRisk() evaluates every session using device and IP intelligence and returns a risk score.

When that score is high, you call trackVerified() to confirm exactly where the user physically is, using GPS, Wi-Fi, and other sensor data that’s far harder to spoof than an IP address. This step-up workflow means you’re only requesting location permissions for the sessions that actually need it, rather than every user across your business.

What types of fraud does Reveal detect?
Arrow icon

Reveal detects location spoofing (VPNs, proxies, and privacy relays), bonus and promo abuse, account takeover, account sharing, new account fraud, coordinated abuse like fake accounts and fake reviews, and automated attacks from emulators and device farms. Because it runs on device and network intelligence, it works across every session regardless of industry, and can be paired with location verification for use cases like geo-compliance and physical presence confirmation.

Every session tells you something. Start acting on all of them.
