The challenge
Turning high-intent app engagement into store traffic at enterprise scale
As Victoria’s Secret & Co. continued investing in its digital experience, the team saw an opportunity to create even stronger connections between digital engagement and in-store shopping.
The company’s mobile apps already served as important touchpoints for customers, offering access to rewards, shopping tools, store information, and personalized experiences. The next step was finding a way to make those interactions even more relevant and timely while supporting the scale and performance requirements of a global retailer.
At the same time, the company was looking to simplify and modernize parts of its digital infrastructure by consolidating multiple services onto a single platform.
"We saw an opportunity to better connect our digital experiences with our stores, but any solution had to support the scale and performance our customers expect."
The solution
Location infrastructure that turns proximity into store engagement
After evaluating several options, Victoria’s Secret & Co. chose Radar as a strategic partner to support both its existing digital needs and future customer engagement initiatives.
The partnership began with modernizing key digital services across the Victoria's Secret and PINK mobile apps. By consolidating multiple capabilities within a single platform, the team was able to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and create a foundation for future innovation.
As the relationship evolved, Victoria’s Secret & Co. and Radar worked closely together to introduce new ways of engaging customers through the mobile app experience. Cross-functional teams from Digital, Marketing, and Store Operations collaborated to deliver more relevant customer communications designed to encourage store visits and deepen engagement with the brand.
A key differentiator was Radar’s hands-on approach.
"After the contract was signed, the Radar team didn’t disappear," Sean said. "We chat with them regularly, review results together, and continue identifying new opportunities."
The collaborative relationship also helped shape future enhancements, with Radar working alongside the Victoria’s Secret & Co. team to introduce new capabilities and address evolving business needs.
